SUMMARY:Architecture of Memory and Place\; Drawings\, Lithographs\, and Ass
 emblages of Abe Kimball
DESCRIPTION:Come view this gallery exhibit featuring drawings\, lithographs
\, and sculptural-assemblages by local artist Abe Kimball. His work draws
on his background in sociocultural anthropology to explore themes of forgo
tten cultures and their relationship with the natural world. You will see
how he combines found objects and printmaking to recontextualize archaic s
ubjects. It is a thoughtful look at how our observations and experiences s
hape the meaning we find in our environment.
