SUMMARY:Arash Shoveiri: Echoes of the Human Condition
DESCRIPTION:Come see these striking large-scale oil paintings that blend an
cient mythology with the realities of modern technology. You will find fig
ures like Aztec princes and Assyrian colossi set in surprising\, contempor
ary scenes involving VR goggles and smartphones. Each piece takes half a y
ear to finish\, resulting in incredibly detailed work that explores how we
connect with history and the digital age. It is a fascinating look at the
human experience through the eyes of an Iranian-American artist.
